We are now at the tail end of our trip to Canada and I think we’ve squeezed as much as we possibly could into our time here.  It’s felt rather strange coming back after being gone for 2 months.  Everyone has been so excited to see us yet it feels like we never left, like we saw everyone just last week and my brain doesn’t fully comprehend.  Don’t get me wrong, I love that people are excited to see me and I’ve missed having many dear people at arms reach, it’s just all very surreal.  So, the last few days here will be very precious because we won’t be back until Christmas.

Spring is a fantastic time to visit “Beautiful British Columbia“, it’s definitely called that for a reason.  The mountains are covered with a fresh shade of green and the landscape is new and crisp with the mountains still capped with white snow.  After years of avoiding the painstaking task of packing up for a camping trip, I’ve actually found myself missing the experience.  It’s funny how that is.  We’ll have to plan accordingly another time or be brave and venture out into the wild closer to our new home.  How about you?  Are you a camper or would you rather check into a luxury hotel?

Today, Lily and I are getting together for one last work day.  I love our coffee fueled work days and I hope that the clock slows down a little…just for today.
