OUR HISTRY
Founded by Lily Ellis + Rachel Janzen in 2010 out of a mutual love of thrifting, simple living and great design. Together we started a small Etsy shop and soon hosted four vintage and handmade markets, The Old School Market and Fieldstone Vintage Market, and Scout Handmade + Vintage Market in our hometown of Abbotsford, BC. Rachel and her family have relocated to Florida, where she is taking a break from blogging and enjoying fun in the sun with her family. Lily (me!) opened a new bricks + mortar store, Spruce Collective, in Abbotsford BC in Fall 2012 alongside 4 other like-minded girls. Thanks for visiting Birch + Bird!
