My Kind of Modern

I thought I’d kick off the weekend with this amazing Australian home that I found over at HomeLife. My tastes have veered a lot more to the modern side of design over the last few years but, although I do love clean lines and streamlined design, its often hard to picture family life in anything too minimal or spare. This coastal modern home looks like it was built to be lived in though…concrete floors (can’t you just picture kids riding scooters through the kitchen?), warm wood panelling, lofty ceilings and bright patterned accents throughout. Now that’s my kind of modern!
