My goodness, this week sure had it’s ups and downs. I guess income tax season will do that to you. Thankfully, the sun came out yesterday and I actually felt it’s warmth on my face, for real. The girls and I spent a little time at the park and then I treated them to some ice cream. It felt like Spring. So good. I recently came across The Brick House on Apartment Therapy. Where have I been?
I’m a huge fan of mid century design and if you are wondering what exactly that means, well, this is it. What I love about mid century design and this home in particular, it how livable it is.
So bright and airy, modern and comfortable, everything I think a home should be. And of course, all the amazing vintage finds give this home so much style. Morgan Satterfield, the homeowner, seems to be a bit of a thrifter. I can’t help but be a little jealous of her amazing finds. The mix of warm wood, textiles and hides give so much interest. And I love the quirky details like the paint by number kittens above the stove and the oil painted portraits.
That tufted leather couch pulls at my heart strings. Happy Friday, everyone! Enjoy your weekend.
