Fun DIY’s for Father’s Day

Father’s Day is on Sunday and I thought I’d share some thoughtful yet simple DIY’s to celebrate all of the papas out there. My kids are at the age that they really like to get involved but also have fairly short attention spans…can any of you relate? I think a couple of these cute printables and some favourite beverages and snacks packed up nice will do the trick for my dad and Father-in-law and I have something a little more leisurely in mind for Brad…

I’m on the hunt for an affordable hammock for Brad (shhh!) and Jan from Poppytalk sent me this amazing DIY hammock idea, made out of a drop cloth…how awesome is that?! I don’t think it will be quite the right fit between the two fir trees in our backyard but can’t you just picture it strung up on a huge covered deck somewhere? The ultimate napping zone! You can see more hammocks and hanging chairs in my guest post over at Poppytalk today and fingers crossed I’ll find the perfect one for the man of our house later this afternoon!
