Bohemian Style

It’s so good to be back! What have you all been up to? The past two weeks has been quite a whirl wind of activities and I’m so grateful for the time off. The first week, I emptied out my daughters’ bedrooms to freshen them up with a new coat of paint…finally. I figured that I could have them both finished within a 5 day time span but I neglected to factor in extra time for things like, meal prep, laundry, general tidying and of course, keeping two little girls occupied and happy. Anyways, I got through the first room quite quickly but things piled up and I pulled back the reins to reorganized myself as much as possible because I was heading off to Florida with my husband for the second week. He was going for business and I selfishly tagged along for some alone time. Pure bliss.
We stayed at the Grand Bohemian in downtown Orlando and our stay there was fantastic. Neither of us had been to Florida before and we were pleasantly surprised. With the lackluster summer weather we’ve been having, I welcomed the 92 degree heat. The hotel is in the downtown Orlando business district so with most of the hotel visitors at the office, I spent every day at the uber chic pool all alone most of the time. The hotel’s Bohemian decor was a tad dated but it did get me thinking about what Bohemian style really is.

What I’ve found is that, there isn’t an exact formula for Bohemian style but that’s the whole point, right?
