As I started writing this post, I realized that I’ve neglected to share our lovely new store logo with you! Designed by the ever talented Jessica MacDonald, who also just happens to be one of my new partners over at Spruce Collective, I think it is so beautiful and captures the overall feeling that we want for the shop. And it also happened to tie in nicely with some other colour inspiration I wanted to share with you today…or maybe I was inspired by the logo itself…it’s hard to say! Autumn is definitely in the air and the leaves are slowly starting to fall. Sad as I am to say goodbye to summer (it’s always far too short, isn’t it?), I do love the Fall most of all. I’ve shared my love of blue with you several times and I’m loving the duskier versions I’ve come across lately, especially when paired with warm neutrals and rust tones…

The countdown is on…one final week before back-to-school and only 20 days until our store is officially open for business, gulp! I think I’ll just take things one day at a time and really must start going to bed earlier. This time of year already feels so busy but I’m so thankful that I pre-ordered the kids’ school supplies and stocked up on new clothes earlier in the summer. How will you be spending this last week of summer holidays? Any plans for the long weekend? Please share 🙂
