Another very thrifty weekend…

Finally, it’s Friday! Right? I can’t believe this weekend is finally here! Lily mentioned yesterday that we are headed out of town with a couple other gals to soak in as much shopping as we can. We’ve done thrift days but not overnighters so this one should be fantastic! And we even managed to squeak in an extra night into the deal!
There will be many stops made at thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales, and any barns, worth hunting through. On our regular jaunts to stock up on items for our shop, we tend to shy away from bigger, heavier items but with our upcoming market, we don’t have to. Good thing we’re bringing a truck!
Along with the treasure hunting, we hope to visit Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and maybe some outlets. On her recent trip to Seattle, Holly Mathis mentioned she visited a shop called Watson Kennedy and I wouldn’t mind stopping in there too.

You really can’t go wrong with basic black, can you? When you shop, do you always have something specific in mind? Or do you just buy on a whim? I use either methods but I tend to have better luck when I’m just browsing for some reason. It’s always more fun when it’s a surprise, isn’t it?

I’m certain we’ll be back next week with a truck full of goodies, some photographs of our journey and maybe a few stories to share. And hopefully, we won’t break the bank.
