A little mid century love…
March 13, 2012
This weekend we bit the bullet and made an offer on one of the houses that we viewed last weekend. I would love to share but was too distracted to take pictures and I’m a bit superstitious, I don’t want to jinx it. It’s totally out of character for us to jump into something like this but we thought since life isn’t exactly normal right now…why not? We are currently in a slow dance of negotiation so we’ll see how it all turns out. I love the Mid Century Modern design trend that’s still going strong and I hope it hangs in there for awhile longer because I’ve got a small collection of vintage credenzas waiting for a new home too. Now, mine aren’t as prized by the masses as some of these fine specimens but I love them just the same.
It’s crunch time around here with the deadline for applications to Scout Handmade + Vintage Market just around the corner. We’ve had an amazing assortment of applications to go through and feel so blessed to have so many people as excited as we are about our next event. The Scout vendors will be announced this coming Thursday so stay tuned for that. And please do mark May 26th on your calendar, we’d love for you to stop by and introduce yourself.
