We spent yesterday evening with a fabulous group of women at the EcoDairy‘s Learning Centre. Barbara Matson, Brittany Manulak, Janis Nicolay, Taya Puiu, Kris Foulds and Victoria Lambert joined us as our honorary jury committee to make the final decisions on our 49 amazing vendor applications for Fieldstone Vintage Market. It’s always inspiring to be around so many talented and well-rounded ladies and last night was no exception. A huge thank you to all of you for making the trip out to the Valley to help us out with jury duty! It was great to have fresh eyes viewing all of the applications and we so appreciated all of the thoughtful comments and feedback that we’ll be passing along to all of our applicants. For all of you that are anxiously awaiting our final decisions, we’ll be sure to let you know by tomorrow so hang in there!
A few days before we left on our family vacations, the Fieldstone team had a little photo session with the lovely Jayme Lang. We’ve worked with Jayme before and absolutely love her work. The amazing settee that we rented from Trove Vintage Rentals & Handmade Affairs really stole the show, don’t you think? Apparently the horses thought so too…we had to chase the foal and it’s nibbles away a number of times! Despite the summer heat, we had so much fun and are pretty thrilled with the results of our afternoon in the field with Jayme…
Introducing the Fieldstone Vintage Market team (from the left): Lily Ellis (moi), Rachel Janzen, Helinda Vanderkooi and Tanya Curtis. Helinda and Tanya are our partners from the Bakerview EcoDairy and they’ve been invaluable in helping us pull off an outdoor market of this size in such a short timeframe. The field that Jayme shot us in is right behind the EcoDairy and will provide a stunning backdrop for all of our talented vendors…
