I’ve been feeling a little under the weather the past several days.  Thank goodness, my immune system put up with my stress level until after the market ended.  I wouldn’t have been any help at all!  Since I’ve been forced to stay put, I’ve been drinking a tonne of tea and keeping warm and cozy by our fireplace that went on for the very first time this Fall.  Which one is your favourite?

I should be good to go tomorrow…crossing fingers.

Hope you do feel better tomorrow! Sitting by the fire is such a treatment.. I wish I had a fireplace in my home (like the second image for example)

That’s so funny that you calling it “turning the fireplace on”. You must have one of those ones with the gas pilot light. Sounds nice, but I like real wood-burning fireplaces, although hauling in logs when I’m sick doesn’t sound so fun.

We do just flick a switch, it’s as easy as that. :)

We didn’t have our gas fireplace until last Winter and I can’t believe we lived without one for so long!

I love these fireplaces. They are inviting and lovely without feeling cluttered or over-the-top. Nice!

ha, you sound just like me, happy it struck after market, drinking tea, except I haven’t turned my fireplace on yet. We have a gas one too, convenient but not quite the same as wood burning :S
