What’s pink and white and red all over? A 5 year old girl’s strawberry birthday party, of course! Our sweet little Sadie is suddenly 5 years old today…Happy Birthday to our little strawberry girl! I know all of us parents say it, but it is seriously unbelievable how fast time flies while watching our children grow! The first batch of festivities with extended family were a success last night and now it’s time for the real party with plenty of pink balloons, cupcakes, candy and more…

As I’ve said before, thank goodness it was one of my daughters who were born in the month of February! Our son is horrified by the quantities of pink and red draping our home but I love how fresh, feminine and spring-like it looks. Inspired and in search of rosy hues, I came across Victoria’s fabulous new dining room and chairs on Pinterest over the weekend…aren’t they fabulous? Not destined for the nursery alone, pink can add a subtle, sweet or sultry touch to many a room…

Looks like Rachel and I both had Etsy on the brain yesterday…she found some gorgeous gifts for us gals here and I had a hard time narrowing down my pink and red choices for the treasury I put together. Do any other Etsy fans out there put together treasuries for fun like we do? I find it oddly therapeutic…although I usually squeeze one in when I should really be in bed for the night…and I love discovering new shops and items in my hunt for the perfect collection.

I’ll be sure to post pics of the party soon but now it’s time to recharge before the gaggle (or giggle) of little girls arrives…
