Red, White + Blue

We’ve been in our home for almost a month now…it doesn’t seem that long especially with the piles of boxes still left to unpack. One thing that I’ve really loved so far is the Southern hospitality. For the most part, everyone is extremely friendly and we’ve had an especially warm welcome into our neighborhood. We met about 50% of our neighbors within the first week of moving in which is the opposite of what we’re used to. So, I’m looking forward to getting to know some of them later on this afternoon when we join them for their 4th of July festivities. Here’s a little red, white and blue for all the Americans amongst us!

Red and blue has to be my favourite colour combo, no matter what time of year it is! Especially love those stairs, great finds as usual!

That is what I miss the most about living in the south, how friendly everyone is! I have to say the my Canadian neighbours are soooo unfriendly….. i miss the American parties at the Fourth, Labour Day, Halloween and Memorial Day! So much fun. Glad you are settling and enjoying your new space and surroundings! Embrace it, you will never regret taking this chance to explore and live somewhere else!
