Holiday + Prep: All That Glitters

November 13, 2013

Hello, hello! Well, I survived my busy weekend and although it was a little too busy, I did have a lot of fun at each of the events packed into it. Our vintage pop-up shop at West Elm Market was really fantastic and was the perfect way to spend a Sunday in the city. My Spruce partners and I traded off “shifts” and all managed to make a decent dent in our wallets shopping along South Granville throughout the day too! Although retail therapy is always fun, this weekend made me realize that I’m dreadfully unprepared for the holidays. I haven’t had a chance to wrap my head around what I’m getting anybody on my list… so I just shopped for myself instead ;) To get myself into the Holiday spirit this week, I thought I’d share some glittery bits of good cheer…

Pretty right? I’m hoping to squeeze some entertaining into our Winter weekends. It’s kind of crazy how fast our calendar is filling up but it feels like forever since we’ve had friends over so I think we’re due for a wee party. Do you have a lot on the go over the Holidays? Friends? Family? A tropical getaway? If it’s the latter, no need mentioning it…half joking ;)
