A Fabulous Friday Giveaway! {Closed}

Hello Friday! So happy to see you and so happy to say that is’s time for another fabulous giveaway! We were contacted by Agate Publishing some time ago asking us if we’d like them to send us a copy of the new design book, Chicago Spaces: Inspiring Interiors. Rachel and I both love design books so we couldn’t say yes fast enough and we were so excited when the postman delivered it a couple of weeks ago! I was even more excited when I started flipping through it. I know that Chicago is famous for it’s architecture, especially it’s iconic mid-century buildings, but had no idea that it was filled with so many stylish and eclectic interiors! Written by Jann Parr and the Editors of Chicago Home + Garden magazine, this gorgeous book is divided into two sections…homes in their entirety and specific rooms. I love that each of the homes and spaces featured are unique unto themselves and I don’t believe that I’ve seen any of them floating around the web yet, which is very refreshing. Take a peak and see what I mean…

Jan Parr, the author, has been the editor-in-chief of Chicago Home + Garden since it started ten years ago. There are plenty of notes alongside the stunning photography, detailing how each space evolved and came together for the home owners and designers. I love getting those little insights into the design process, don’t you? And this book showcases spaces that have obviously taken time to become what they are…there was no one-stop shop anywhere in sight! Full of colour and with a broad range of design styles, this book is a fantastic decorating resource and is now definitely near the top of my list of design book favourites!

Did I mention that the forward is by Nate Berkus? In his words, “The Midwest does have style, loads of it to be exact, and this book, full of the amazing interiors that live in this city…is proof of that.” After reading this book, I agree Nate!

Being that it’s such a great addition to any design library, we thought it only fitting that we spread some good cheer and send it to a new and loving home, just in time for the holidays! So without further ado, here’s what you need to do to enter our giveaway draw:
